Field notes
Practical write-ups from building Walendria — things we learned the hard way, documented so the next person (often us, a few weeks later) doesn't have to relearn them.
Wallets and tools quote gas prices for a fee market that barely exists on Gnosis Chain and Chiado. Here's how we deployed a 9-contract protocol for less than a thousandth of a cent — and how to do it yourself without ever getting a transaction stuck.

Every trust-building method that predates the Integrity Bond shares one defect: you spend money hoping it earns trust, and none of it comes back if it doesn't. Rent isn't refundable. Ad spend isn't refundable. A 1.5x-of-price deposit that unlocks itself and goes right back to work is a different category of cost — here's the actual math nobody arguing against it seems to have run.

Every mechanism ever built to make a stranger trustworthy answers one of two questions: how does the buyer get paid back if the seller cheats, and whose account of a dispute gets treated as true? KYC, courts, reputation scores — they're all indirect answers built when the direct ones weren't available. The direct answers are available now. Two reductions, two contracts, no apparatus.

A bank, a platform, a court: every middleman you trust to make a payment safe is also the one thing that can freeze you, reverse you, or lock you out. Strip the apparatus back and only two questions remain — how do I get my money back, and who decides what's true — both now answerable directly. Then follow the freed money to where it actually leads: to the quiet dissolving of the line between productive and consumptive spending.

Walendria never touches your money — you fund your own wallet. A self-service guide, for anywhere in the world, to getting xDAI on Gnosis Chain into your wallet: on-ramps that sell it directly, the buy-and-bridge route that works almost everywhere, and how to map your own country's payment rails onto the same four steps — plus why the identity check lives with the on-ramp, never with Walendria.

An AI was asked to read the whitepaper adversarially and publish its hardest objections in public, unfiltered, so the developer's answers would have to stand next to them. Empty markets that a manipulator can move alone; verdicts that might track mobilisation instead of truth; a stalemate nobody can withdraw from; winning a dispute and still being paid less than face value; and the transaction size below which no outsider will bother. Three of the five answers concede something real.
